मानव सामाजिक प्राणी हो । यसले
भाषाका माध्यमबाट विचार आदानप्रदान गरी जीवनलार्इ सहज बनाएको छ
।भाषालार्इ खेलाउन सक्ने क्षेमताका कारण नै ऊ अरू प्राणी भन्दा पृथक बन्न सफल भएको
हो । अन्य प्राणीहरूको पनि भाषा त हुन्छ तर तिनीहरूको भाषामा मानवको भाषा जस्तो
विकसित रूप नभइ केहि सङ्केतहरू मात्र देखिन्छ ।
Humans are social creatures. They have made life easier by exchanging ideas through language. It is because of their ability to manipulate language that they have succeeded in becoming different from other creatures. Other creatures also have language, but their language is not as developed as human language, and only some signs are visible.
मानवीय र मानवेतर प्राणी बिचको
अन्तरलार्इ यसरी हेर्न सकिन्छः
The difference between human and non-human beings can be seen as follows:
१.मानवीय भाषिक व्यवस्थामा व्यवाहारमा विविधता ल्याउन सक्ने
क्षमता हुन्छ तर मानवेतर भाषामा व्यवाहारमा विविधता ल्याउन सक्ने भाषिक व्यवस्था
हुदैन ।
1. Human linguistic systems have the ability to bring diversity in behavior, but non-human languages do not have linguistic systems that can bring diversity in behavior.
२.भाषाकै माध्यमबाट मानवले विभिन्न भावनाहरू तथा विचारहरू
अरूसमक्ष व्यक्त गर्न सक्छ तर मानवेतर प्राणीको भाषामा अभिव्यक्ति क्षमता सिमित
हुन्छ ।
Through language, humans can express various emotions and thoughts to others, but the ability to express themselves in the language of non-human animals is limited.
३.मानव भाषामा उत्पादनशीलता हुन्छ तर मानवेतर भाषामा
उत्पादनशीलता हुँदैन ।
Human languages have productivity, but non-human languages do not.
४. मानव भाषामा उद्दीपन र अनुक्रियाका रूपमा बुझ्नु पर्छ तर
मानवेतर भाषामा यसप्रकारको क्षमता हुँदैन ।
Human language should be understood as a stimulus and response, but non-human languages do not have this kind of ability.
५मानव भाषामा स्थान वा काल विस्थापनको गुण हुन्छ भने पशुपन्छीको सम्प्रेषणमा स्थान वा काल विस्थापनको गुण हुँदैन ।
Human language has the property of spatial or temporal displacement, while animal communication does not have the property of spatial or temporal displacement.
६.मानव भाषाको लागि भाषिक प्रतिकहरूको खुला व्यवस्था रहेको हुन्छ भने मानवेतर भाषामा खुला व्यवस्था रहेको हुँदैन ।
While human language has an open system of linguistic symbols, non-human languages do not.
७.मानव भाषामा एउटा एउटा प्रतिकले एकभन्दा धेरै अर्थ प्रवाह गर्न सक्छ भने मानवेतर भाषामा प्रस्तुत हुने आवाजले एउटा अर्थ मात्र प्रवाह गर्न सक्छ ।
In human language, a single symbol can convey more than one meaning, while in non-human languages, a sound can only convey one meaning.
८. मानव भाषामा सिकाइको गुण अन्तर्निहित हुन्छ भने मानवेतर सम्प्रेषणमा सिकाइको गुण अन्तर्निहित हुँदैन
While human language has an inherent quality of learning, non-human communication does not.
९. मानव भाषा भूगोल सापेच्छ्य हुन्छ भने मानवेतर सम्प्रेषणमा
भूगोल निरपेच्छ्य हुन्छ ।
While human language is geographically relative, in non-human communication, geography is absolute.
१०.मानव भाषालार्इ विभिन्न भाषिक एकाइमा विभक्त गरून सकिन्छ
भने मानवेतर सम्प्रेषणलार्इ विभिन्न तहमा विभक्त गर्न सकिंदैन ।
११. मानव भाषाले संस्कृति बोकेको हुन्छ भने मानवेतर
सम्प्रेषणले संस्कृति बोक्दैन ।
१२. मानव भाषामा गल्ति सुधारका सम्भावनाहरू रहन्छन् तर
मानवेतर सम्प्रेषणमा गल्ति सुधारका सम्भावनाहरू रहदैनन् ।
