वाक्यमा प्रयोग हुने भनाइ वा उक्ति स्वभावोक्ति हो । सामान्य वोलचालको भाषा जुन स्वभाविक रूपमा प्रकट हुन्छ त्यसलार्इ नै स्वभावोक्ति भनिन्छ । वक्रोक्ति भन्दा यसमा भाषिक सरलता र सहजता हुन्छ । यसमा सहज र स्वभाविक भाषा शैलीको प्रयोग भइ साहित्य निर्माण भएको हुन्छ । यसमा पनि कुनै न कुनै रसको निर्माण गर्ने क्षमता हुन्छ ।स्वैर कल्पना र घुमाउरो शैली भन्दा यसले यथार्थता र सहज अभिव्याक्तिको अपेच्छा राख्दछ । यसको विषय स्वभाविक हुन्छ भने शैली सामान्य रहन्छ । केहि विद्वानहरूले स्वभावोक्तिमा साहित्यको निर्माण हुनुपर्छ भन्ने खालका मतहरू राखेको पाइन्छ । उदारणको लागि प्लेटोले जीवनको हुवहु वर्णनलार्इ नै साहित्य ठान्दछन्। साहित्यमा कल्पना नभरी यथार्थ रूपमा प्रकट भएको जीवनको वास्तविक प्रस्तुति जसले गर्दा साहित्य मार्फत सत्यको अन्वेषण गर्न सकियोस भन्ने ठान्दछन । प्लेटोको विचारलार्इ खरस्तुले समर्थन गर्न सक्दैनन् ।यथार्थकुरालार्इ कल्पनाले पुन सिर्जना गरि साहित्य निर्माण गर्नु पर्दछ भनेका छन् । त्यसै गरी भामहले साहित्यमा गणना नै गरेका छैनन् । यिनले वक्रोक्ति नभएको वर्णनलार्इ वार्ता भनेका छन् । दण्डीले स्वभावोक्तिमा स्वतह अाकर्षित गर्न सक्ने गुण हुन्छ भन्दै साहित्यमा यसलार्इ स्वीकारेका छन् । त्यसै गरी यिनले त स्वभावोक्तिमा अलङ्कार पनि हुने कुरा वताएका छन् । कुन्तकले भने स्वभावोक्तिमा अलङ्कार हुने कुराको विरोध गर्दै यो स्वभाविक उक्तिमा अलङ्कार नहुने तर्क व्यक्त गर्दछन् ।
साहित्यमा स्वभाविक अभिव्यक्ति नै स्वभावोक्ति हो । जसमा अभिधा शक्तिको प्रयोग भएको हुन्छ । यो सरल र सहज खालको हुन्छ । जसलार्इ केहि विद्वानले साहित्यमा स्वीकारेका छन् भने केहिले चाहि साहित्य भन्दा परको कुरा ठानेका छन् ।
A statement or utterance used in a sentence is a natural expression. The language of ordinary speech that appears naturally is called eloquence. It has linguistic simplicity and ease rather than irony. Literature is created using natural and easy language style. It also has the ability to create some kind of juice. The theme is natural and the style is simple. Some scholars are of the opinion that literature should be built on nature. For example, Plato considers literature to be the exact description of life. They think that literature is a real representation of real life that is not imaginary but real, so that truth can be explored through literature. Kharatu cannot support Plato's ideas. He has said that literature should be created by imagining reality. Similarly, Bhamah has not counted in literature. He described the talks as "non-negotiable". Dandi has accepted this in literature saying that it has the quality of being able to attract self-expression in nature. In the same way, he has said that it is also an ornament in nature. Kuntak, on the other hand, opposes the use of rhetoric in nature and argues that it should not be rhetorical in natural speech.
In literature, natural expression is natural expression. In which the title power is used. It is simple and easy. Some scholars have accepted it in literature while others have considered it as something beyond literature.
